camera obscura
- Camera obscura is a technique of photography that is a well established style of photography used by famous artist in photography. This means that, it is a well used type of photography that other people used and found success with their work and made a successful career using the style of imagery/photography. This means, that people are given many options who are interesting in photography and can make a successful career of photography by implementing the styles of photography in the work that they make and publish for the world to see and make the work successful and make a living off the work that is being made because it is a fascinating piece of photography to make and own. Therefore, this style is great to have because of the way that its produced and the art of the photography style.
Abelardo morrell
the photo shown is my favourite because, it shows the image shown upside down, this means that the style of photography is being implemented in the correct way. This is shown, with the camera used flipping the image upsude down. When the image is flipped upside down, It creates a different style that is photographed. The image being upside down can create an illusion with the upright objects mixed with the upside down photo. This shows that the style of photography can be implemented and used in many places and must have little to no light within the area and light getting into the camera. The light shouldn’t mix because it can ruin the photography style and means the style cannot be perfectly used in the correct way. Therefore this photography style can be used very freely and creates a very creative and popular style of photography.

- but My first impression of my photographs is that they look like Origami and has nice lighting, I used the torch from my phone. The purpose of my photography is the techniques and art that my work shows, this is shown by the shadows reflecting off of the photography. My artwork is fine but could have different angles, this is because they all look like similar angles but have nice lighting and shadows thats reflecting on and off of the photography/artwork. The photographs show that light is reflecting off of the paper to make shadows to create a style of art also photography.
Francis Bruguiere:
- My gut instinct on the work is the different lighting being used in different angles and the shadows that it creates on the work with it in black and white.
- The authenticity of the work is the detail that is shown on the work with the light reflecting off the work creating an authentic shadow the purpose of the image is creating shadows with a light source and making sure that different angles of the work can create different lightings to the work also.
- The looks makes it look more effective because of how the shadows and lighting of Bruguiere's work

- The photos taken of light are from various angles, settings and locations. The photos are providing a shadow with different shapes, sizes, and objects to reflect the given shadow. Most photos are reflective from a wall. This is to show how dark or bright the shadow may be off of the reflective surface. The light reflecting off of the wall spreads across the wall with some shadows being brighter than others. the shadows of plants is a good way to show shadows and reflective light as it creates different shapes and sizes of the object and how much the light reflects onto a surface.

Light as a subject:
- Naoya hatakeyama , is a Japanese photographer who takes photos of all different things.
- He takes photos of light sources, reflections off of water and water on transparent objects with a blurred photo in the background
- Naoya hatakeyama's work, explores human intervention with the landscape and natural materials, including the life of cities and the built environment around him
- Naoya's work is inventive and is really his passion and were he visits making his work about different areas he has visited globally
- His last series was called 'Ciel Tombe' published in 2008
- He studued at the university of Tsukba.
image evaluation by Naoya Hatakeyama:
- This image is my favourite image by Naoya Hatakeyama because, the imagery of the photograph looks further away than what it may actually be.
- Another reason why this photo is my favourite is because, the rain makes the image out of focus creating a different photo with the main subject of the photo being the secondary focus with the rain being the main focus by the camera.
- A third reason this is my favourite photo by Naoya Hatakeyama is because, the surroundings of the photo are lights by different buildings in the background of the main focus of the photograph.
- This image creates a different look because of the surroundings that the image has and how the photo has been taken with the light reflecting off of the out of focus object. The main subject making the image out of focus makes the photo a different kind of photo as the raindrops add to the main focus of the image.
- The buildings in the background of the window create light as little glimpses to show that the main focus isn't the the main focus creating a different photo from some. And making the photography seem different is by the rain droplets become a main focus with the buildings and other surroundings become a background for the rain to create a better visual effect.
- The effect that is being used by Naoya Hatakeyama is using blurred images but a secondary focus of the image being the rain droplets becomes a main focus with the surroundings becoming a photo out of focus and a blurred image.
- The imagery is a photo that creates a different vibe as its a dark night and blips of light foreshadowed by the main focus that Naoya has made for his imagery and one of his styles for photography.
30 photos of photographers images:
- These images are inspired by Nayoa Hatakeyama. He was a Japanese photographer who took photos of various things. However, my favourite is when he uses rain as a main subject and makes the background unfocused so the rain can add a different technique to his work. I was inspired by this because it’s an interesting way to make photography. So, I used his style and was inspired to make my own work. These images, are a good example of inspiration to his work and how his work can be taken as inspiration to make there own work.
Artist response photos:
- The aim of this work was to take his work and be inspired by it and take what he did as a challenge to create my own work and make my work seem inspired and to make the work seem more elegant to make out that the work isn't copied but is taken to make it different and more varied in what is being done. The equipment that is being used is a camera, water, brush, and windows. This is used to make the water theme with spills of water flicked on by the brush to create the correct effect and work. The next thing to do is edit the photos and adjust them to make them better and make a final piece of photography that was purely inspired by an artists work.
Photoshoped photos
These photos have been photoshopped to add into my work that I create. These photos are going to be integrated into my work with many different shapes and sizes, when it is all printed out. The photos are also being used to expand the image, the way that'll be done is with colours that stand out and are different contrast to the original photo. The tone of the images will be a mixture of high and low with some images being more powerful with light then others. The different tones, will depict the images value and exposure of the images brightness. These images are the important part, as they are the subject of the piece and making different sizes and shapes will make it even better.
